Animal attribute organiser

 Last week wehad  a Literacy  theme of strange animals. One of our activities was a strange animal attribute organiser. I had to research the animals and answer the questions  and some interesting facts. If you would like to know more about the literacy theme's click on this line to our google site. What I think I could do better is Concentrating  because it took me almost 4 days to complete.  What  I think I did well is taking notes and using key words.

Match Up Activity

 WALT:Write a quality blog post using the smart learner writing criteria   

Last term one of our teams literacy themes was all in your mind. The activity I chose was a match up activity where you would have to explain the cause and what the injury/disease was. If you would like to see some of our different tasks you could visit our google site. 

I didn't realize when I started the activity that the answers were all at the bottom so I spent 3 days trying to get the answers. Finding the answers was quite hard because the information on the websites was quite hard hard to understand. Next time I should most definitely read the instructions properly and always look below.

Term 3 Ako Reflection

 In term 3 this is my math work I did fractions what i had to do is list them the read them out witch wasn't to hard to do because I learnt about it last year but it wasn't ticked off in my numeracy booklet . My goal is to be able to read much bigger fractions ad be able to do improper fractions 

  (I got all of the questions correct). 

   This term for literacy the theme was bugs and insects and there were heaps of activities to choose from I chose to do a crossword it was challenging but fun because I had to do lots of research using the clues we were given  and I learnt about heaps of bugs I didn't even know about. My goal for next time is to find and learn about more bugs. 

This term we also had to make a digital poster to try to convince people to recycle. The poster had to have a message in it. Mine was to not scrunch up paper because if you do it can not be recycled. We also had to add a slogan. Next time I could try to make the picture look a it better and look more like what it is supposed to be. 

My holiday

In the first week of the holidays I was in Christchurch with my grandma,cousin and half brother. We went ice skating and we also went to Margret May-hey. In the second week of the holidays me, grandma,cousin,brother and sister drove down to Dunedin and stayed there for the night. The next morning I woke up at about 8:30 in the morning and made some breakfast witch was toast with a hot chocolate with two marshmallows. at around lunch time we left to go to Naseby and we stayed there for the night. the next morning we left for Queenstown and it took about two hours
